While working on it, I found the project quite poetic so I felt like creating some sort of “Haiku” poems to support each frames was quite interesting. Here they are :
Haiku 1.
夜の静寂に
Dans le silence nocturne
In the stillness of the night
障子に月影
L’ombre de la lune sur les shōji
Moonlight shadow on the shōji
光踊りぬ
La lumière danse
The light dances
Haiku 2.
古き畳に
Sur le vieux tatami
On the old tatami
祈る心は
Le coeur en prière
The praying heart
祖霊へ向く
Se tourne vers les ancêtres
Turns toward the ancestral spirits
Haiku 3.
空き家響く
La maison vide résonne
The empty house echoes
記憶の廊下
Dans les couloirs de la mémoire
Through the corridors of memory
足音ひとり
Pas solitaires
Lonely footsteps
Haiku 4.
湯に身を清め
Purifiant le corps dans l’eau chaude
Cleansing the body in hot water
背中の傷跡
Les cicatrices du dos
Scars upon the back
語る戦場
Racontent les batailles
Tell the battlefields

戸を開けば
Si j’ouvre la porte
If I open the door
過去の己が
Mon moi du passé
My past self
闇に待ちけり
Attend dans l’obscurité
Waits in the darkness

古き鎧よ
Ô ancienne armure
O ancient armor
守りし誇りが
La fierté que tu protégeais
The pride you once protected
夜霧に眠る
Dort dans la brume nocturne
Sleeps in the night mist
Haiku 7.
鎧と魂
L’armure et l’âme
The armor and the soul
同じ夜に老い
Vieillissent dans la même nuit
Grow old in the same night
風は過ぎゆく
Et le vent passe
And the wind passes
